Operations Specialist at Tri-Cities Airport
Full-Time Position
The Port of Pasco has an immediate opening for a full-time Operations Specialist to serve at the Tri-Cities Airport.
This position conducts routine patrols of the Tri-Cities Airport properties to include the airport terminal building and surrounding area, airport industrial park, runway and taxiway system, and perimeter boundaries for fire protection and security. The ability to communicate well on a written and verbal basis with other employees and the public is essential. This is NOT a law enforcement position or passenger screening position.
Prospective employee must pass a pre-employment physical and a drug-screening test, must possess a valid driver’s license and a high-school diploma or GED.
Wages and Benefits: Starting wage for the position is $22.33/hour.

Participation in the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems, PERS, as determined by employee eligibility.
Optional (employee elected) benefits include up to 4% match for the Deferred Compensation Program as provided by the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems- based on the employee’s contribution, FSA, and supplemental insurance.
Full-time employees accrue 176 hours of PTO per year, and 12 paid holidays.
Work schedule:
Shift work include nights, weekends, and holidays and the position is on a 24/7 schedule.
Operations Specialist shifts are Sunday- Tuesday plus alternating Wednesdays and Thursday- Saturday plus alternating Wednesdays. Additionally, employees will rotate between AM and PM shifts every 6 weeks
